Plan Update Phases

During the initial kick-off of the planning effort, the project team will identify important stakeholders within the community and begin to reach out to them in an effort to bring them up to speed on the project. This phase of the plan development process will last until mid-Fall, 2025 and will include the existing conditions analysis; market study; transit feasibility study; and community visioning activities.

The second phase of the Bells Ferry Corridor LCI Update will take place from Fall 2025 to early 2026. Having already established existing conditions as part of Phase I, the second phase of the planning effort will focus on the development of the final plan itself, as well as potential future development scenarios.

The final phase of the of the Bells Ferry Corridor LCI Update will deal mostly with drafting the final plan itself, and getting is successfully review and approved by Cherokee County!
